10 Mahavidya Sadhana: The Yantra and Mala Associated With Each Mahavidya

At Shivshakti Siddheshwar Akhada, the ten Mahavidyas are not approached as one common form of worship. Each Mahavidya has its own spiritual context, mantra tradition, Yantra, Mala, and prescribed Sadhana method. Because of this, the Akhada places strong importance on using the correct Sadhana materials under proper Guru guidance.

Why the Right Yantra and Mala Matter

In the Akhada’s tradition, a Yantra or Mala used for Mahavidya Sadhana should be appropriately prepared and Siddh before becoming part of the practice. Different Mahavidyas are associated with different Yantras and Malas, so the same material is not used for every Sadhana.

Mahavidya Combinations

  • Kali — Mahakali Yantra with Black Hakik Mala
  • Tara — Tara Yantra with Black Hakik Mala
  • Tripur Sundari / Shodashi — Tripur Sundari Yantra with Sphatik Mala
  • Bhuvaneshwari — Bhuvaneshwari Yantra with Sphatik Mala

Guru Guidance Before Beginning

Mahavidya Sadhanas are treated as serious and disciplined spiritual practices. The mantra, Vidhi, Jaap count, duration, required materials, and eligibility may differ according to the Sadhana and the seeker.

For this reason, the Akhada advises seekers to understand the correct process and receive appropriate guidance before beginning an advanced Mahavidya practice independently.
